Obituary of Doris M. Wehrman

Doris M. Wehrman, 74, of Bethel, Connecticut, formerly of Amsterdam, New York, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Bethel Healthcare Center. Born in Amsterdam, New York on May 27, 1932 a daughter of the late Russell B. and Lois V. Rivenburg Yowell. She had been a resident of Bethel, Connecticut since 1971 and was a former employee of Allen Molders of Bethel and Danbury, Connecticut for many years. Doris was also employed with the Barden Corporation of Danbury and worked part time for the All Washed Up Laundromat of Bethel. She was a member of the Valley Presbyterian Church of Brookfield, Connecticut. She married Clarence ?Tom? Wehrman who survives. In addition to her husband survivors include one daughter, Deborah Hyers of Bethel, Connecticut; one brother, John Yowell of California; one sister, Virginia DiScenza of Amsterdam, New York; one granddaughter, Tracey Hyers and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, Connecticut on Wednesday from 6-9:00PM. A Graveside committal service will be held on Friday at 1:00PM at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, New York with the Rev. Charles Hesslink presiding.
