Obituary of Dolores Bracero

Mrs. Dolores Bracero, 87 years old of Wall Street, died Thursday at St. Mary?s Hospital. Mrs. Bracero was born July 10, 1919 in Maya Guez, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Carmelo and Evarista Chantres. She moved to Amsterdam when she was eleven years old where she had since resided. Dolores worked for many years as a seamstress. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. Dolores married Aquilino Santiago in 1965. He died in 1992. She is survived by her brother Higinio Bracero of Coamo, Puerto Rico and by her sister Patricia Santos of Amsterdam. Nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, October 9, 2006, at the Betz Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Burial is in St. Michael?s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
