Obituary of Alfred L. Orsini

Alfred L. Orsini, 83, of Pleasant Ave, Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly Thursday at his home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 15, 1923 a son of Anthony and Julia Riccitelli Orsini. He attended Amsterdam schools and later traveled the world and was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Philippine, European and the Pacific Theatres. Mr. Orsini was an accomplished musician and traveled with Gary Stevens and Tony Brooks. He is survived by his sister, Genevieve Palombo of Amsterdam. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam. There are no calling hours.
