Obituary of Louise M. Gagne

Louise M. Gagne, 87, formerly of Clizbe Ave, passed away Wednesday evening November 15, 2006 at the E.L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility, Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam, New York on March 8, 1919 a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Smith Gagne. She was a life long area resident and attended Amsterdam schools. Louise worked for many years as a sewer in the garment industry in Amsterdam. She also worked as a housekeeper for 10 years for the Drs. Blanchard retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Survivors include her cousins, Dr. Helen M. Blanchard of the Town of Amsterdam, and Emma Jane Terplak of Amsterdam. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 18, 2006 at 10:30A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15A.M. at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church, East Main St. Amsterdam. Interment will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Ft. Johnson, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30A.M. at the funeral home.
