Obituary of John A. Reali
John A. Reali, 71, of Prescott Street, Albany, passed away suddenly early Sunday morning at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Born in Amsterdam, New York on September 13, 1935, he was the son of Phillip and Lucy Pompi Reali and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. He was employed by Greyhound Bus Company in Albany as a driver before he retired in 2000.
When living in Amsterdam, John was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
He leaves his sons, John Paula Reali and Kevin Reali both of St. Petersburg, Florida; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Barry Reali; sisters, Rose Reali Shang of Amsterdam and Carol Wojcik of Schenectady and his brother, Rudy Shirley Reali of Blossvale, New York, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Frank and his wife, Ann Reali; his nephews, Thomas and Michael Reali and a grandnephew, Robert Rodriguez.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment is in St. Michael?s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the Ladies of Charity, 228 Division Street, c/o Constantine, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
