Obituary of Richard E. Greer

Richard E. Greer Jr., 76, formerly of West Fulton NY, and a resident of Anchorage Alaska, died December 7, 2006 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1930 in Sunnyside, Long Island, NY and grew up in West Fulton, NY. He was married for 39 years to Barbara Schultz Greer. She preceded him in death on October 17, 2006. He was first employed at the General Electric Company in New York State. He then moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1974 where he lived and worked for the rest of his life. Survivor?s include his mother-in-law Olga Schultz of Amsterdam, N.Y. One daughter, Patrice Greer Gregory of Middleburgh, NY and one son, Richard E. Greer III of Kent Washington. Committal services will be held this morning Friday March 23, 2007 at 11:30A.M. at St. Mary?s Cemetery Chapel, Fort Johnson, NY with the Rev. Pascal Iannotti presiding. Interment of cremated remains will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY.
