Obituary of Ronald Francis Leonard

Ronald Francis ?Bummer? Leonard, Jr., 39, of Highland Gardens Apartments, Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at his home. Born in Amsterdam on May 23, 1967 a son of Ronald Francis Leonard, Sr. and Virginia Battaglia. He was a life long area resident and was a 1986 graduate of Amsterdam High School. He was employed most recently as a mail sorter by the Amsterdam Printing Co. He also worked for a time at the Yellow Cab Co. in Amsterdam. Ronald was loved by everyone and had a great sense of humor. He was an outgoing and caring person. He loved the holidays and would go above and beyond when decorating for Christmas. Ronald will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by one brother, Joshua Ezekiel Leonard of Amsterdam, one sister, Tanya Torres of Amsterdam. Aunts, uncles, five nieces, two nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 1:30PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to help the family. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.
