Obituary of Rita M. Lewis

Rita M. Lewis, 69, of 107 Midline Road, passed away Saturday January 13, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Manhattan on April 9, 1937 daughter of the late John and Mary VanDevan Walters. Rita married Donald F. Lewis on January 26, 1988. She was a member of the Association of Marian Helpers. She enjoyed crocheting, the outdoors, gardening and wildlife. She loved her ?grandson? Jake, a chocolate Lab. Survivors include her husband Donald of Broadalbin; a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford J. III and Marion Enright, also of Broadalbin; a brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Gwynne Walters of Windham, NH; two nephews, Rick and John Walters and a niece Georgia Walters, all of Manchester, NH. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Tuesday January 16 from 4 to 7 PM at the home of Clifford and Marion, 117 Midline Road, Broadalbin. Donations in Rita?s memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Fulton County Chapter No. 122, VFW Home, 2077 3rd Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078. Arrangements are with the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home in Broadalbin.
