Obituary of Lillian Tenney

Lillian Frances Kryzak Tenney, 94, of Vancouver, passed away Monday morning at the Pacific Specialty & Rehabilitation Care Center in Vancouver. Born in Amsterdam on September 16, 1912, she was the daughter of Michael and Elfrazina ?Freida? Cisek Kryzak. Educated locally, she later lived in Saratoga Springs for thirty years, and moved to Vancouver in 2002 to be close to her family. Lillian was a communicant of the Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist in Amsterdam, and later of St. Peter?s in Saratoga. Her husband, Nelson Tenney passed away on February 13, 1958. Also, a sister, Victoria Barzyk and brothers, John and Joseph Kryzak predeceased her. Her family always meant a lot to her, and she will be missed by her son Gerald and his wife Jo Tenney of Vancouver, Washington; sisters, Sophia Korona of Vail Mills, Ann Korona of Roanoke, VA, Helen DeSorbo of Englewood, FL, and Dorothy Grimm of Austin, TX; brother, Thomas Kryzak of Guilderland; grandchildren, David and Laura Tenney, Beth and her husband Daniel Bianca; great grandchildren, Shanley, Daniel, Michael and Christopher Bianca; as well as nieces and nephews. On Monday, January 29th at 11:30AM at St. Joseph's Church in Vancouver, a memorial Mass celebrating her life was held for her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will take place on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the St. John the Baptist Church, Vanderveer Street, Amsterdam. Interment will follow in St. John?s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Her family has entrusted her arrangements to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
