I was so sorry to read of your Dad's death in the Fort Plain paper. Dick and I are wintering in Florida, so I am not able to visit in person to tell you how sorry I am. I have many memories of both your Dad and Mom. They were of the generation of my parents, but you got to enjoy your Dad for many more years, which is a very good thing. I know you too will always have many warm memories that will come to you often and without any special reason. Please know that I am thinking of you. Love-Barb Bell

Larry, Linda, Bonnie and Tom,
I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He will be missed for sure. I remember the times he use to drive by and stop and chat for a bit when I had the farm and many times since in passing during the day.
I can still remember loading fence posts with him and my Grandfather many years ago.
May God be with you at this time.
Jim Welch

I'm very sorry for your loss. Mr. Casler was a very good person and the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for. I'll always remember his red wooden fence that the pigs ran through and him mowing his lawn. I also will always remember being able to look out the living room window at christmas time and being able to see the tree outside his garage decorated with lights. For over 15 years he would always bring the newspaper over for my dad to read when he was finished. He didn't have to do it but he always did. He was a kind and generous person that thought of others before himself. He was like another grandpa to my brother and me. He will be greatly missed but hopefully he is happy and in a better place now...earth's trials and sufferings done...paradise awaites him...he's finally been called home.
