Obituary of Lillian M. Crisalli

Lillian M. Crisalli, 82, of Lincoln Avenue passed away Monday, February 5, 2007 at River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, New York. She was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey on February 17, 1924 a daughter of the late George and Lillian Clevinger Kellogg. Lillian was raised in Mount Holly, New Jersey and attended schools in that area. She married James J. Crisalli on November 27, 1945. He predeceased her on June 7, 1997. Lillian was a longtime resident of the Amsterdam area. She worked various jobs in the area before deciding to settle at home to raise her large family. Lillian took great pride in providing and caring for her five children. She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses, was an avid BINGO enthusiast, and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and most recently her first great-great-grandchild. Besides her parents and her husband, Lillian was predeceased by a daughter, Frances Crisalli on March 28, 1993. Two brothers and four sisters also predecease her. Lillian is survived by a son, James J. Deborah Crisalli, Jr. of Amsterdam, three daughters, Joann Brooker of Amsterdam, Georgeanna Crisalli of Amsterdam, and Paulette Crisalli of Tacoma, WA, a sister, AnnaMae Cliver of Beaver Dam, KY, twenty grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive her. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 with Rev. John Califano, pastor St. Luke?s Lutheran Church, officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial Donations in Lillian?s memory may be made to Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Manny?s Corner Road, Amsterdam, or to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
