HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTTIE:
I have an article in the paper today for your BD: Here is what I said:
On your birthday I bring a rose, say a prayer and wish with all my heart that you were here with me. I wish I could see that beautiful smile once again.
I miss you more and more each day and it is so very lonely without you.
The boys are doing fine and send their love to you
I love you; Your wife Cathy

Dear Scott,
Wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I still remember when I first met you and was so happy to know I was going to be "your nurse" and that Cathy was going to be my co-worker. It was truly a pleasure knowing you. You are loved by many and missed by all.
Love,
Joyce

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY HUSBAND:
One year ago today you left me and you fought so hard to stay. I knew you were suffering and wanted to be at peace. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't talk to you, ask you questions and sometimes I hear an answer NO SHOES!!!!!. I remember your beautiful smile, your touch and your love and wish I could embrace them all.
You left me beautiful memories
Your love and strength is still my guide. And although I cannot see you You are always at my side.
Family and friends have kept me busy throughtout the year but in my quiet moments I wish you were here with me...I miss you so much.
I'm working at the office and everyone was so good to me the last couple weeks...talked about you a lot. Kim brought me 1 doz chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines day from "YOU".
Monty and Laila sent me flowers the beginning of Feb to help me thru the month.....The boys and families are doing well....
Rest in Peace My Love
Your loving wife Cathy

We miss ya' dear friend .... Imagine you are enjoying a perfect day of golf in our Heavenly Father's kingdom . Bet you're gettin' a "hole in one" on EVERY
3 par !! We sure think and talk of you and your Cat, often. Fondly remembering all of the wonderful vacations / times we had together. Just the other day we were talking about our Yellowstone trip ; we'd like to go again, but it certainly wouldn't be the same. Gosh, we all had such good times together ....what a blessing to have such swell friends, as you and Cathy. Wish we were closer to Saratoga to check on your Cat ....know she is surrounded by so many family and friends there that care, I'm sure that you know this, though. Continue to enjoy your eternal life Scottie ...
We'll see you in heaven our friend,
Love, Hawley & Becky

Hi Scott... it's a whole year later.... Time has passed so quickly, but the memories of this time last year are still vivid. I am glad this year has passed, especially for Cathy, and also for us. It's been so difficult doing everything we always did... without you. We missed you on the cruise. We missed you at holidays. We missed you on our birthdays, and at the lake, and at Kyle's baseball games. Emily would love it if you were there watching her play basketball YOU would love it... she shoooooooots!!!. But you are in our hearts ALWAYS, and you are "with us" in spirit. Still I long to hug you and see your warm smile, and laugh at your great humor.
As you know, Cathy misses you terribly. But she is so wonderful, she is rarely left alone, because she is so loved. We'll always take good care of her, as best we can, though in some ways we will never be able to replace her soul mate, that being you. And in so many ways, she takes care of us!!
Craig turns 20 tomorrow; seems like yesterday he was sharing his birthday with our close group in your house, that night, a year ago....
Love from us all Scott: Deb, Dean, Kyle, Craig, Corey, Emily......

Hi Honey: HAPPY NEW YEAR JAN 2, 2008:
I returned safely from the family cruise and had a wonderful time. You were with us the entire trip; we could hear you laughing at the kids and telling me all is fine and to have a good time.
Emily was my cabin-mate and we said a prayer every night for you. I had your picture on the night stand....Everyone that came into the room said "Hi Scottie".
We have about 15" of new snow on the ground; looks beautiful outside which I am sure you can see as well.
Myles and Monty called me for New Years and they are doing OK--they miss you lots...Monty made a video for me of your life which I will watch tonight.
I LOVE YOU.....Miss you terribly; talk to you every minute telling you what is happening.
I cannot get into the cemetary due to the snow but say a prayer every night that you are resting and at peace.
I love you my sweet husband; Remember me always.....Cat/Cathy

Dear Scotty & Cathy
We think of you so often and especially thought of you duirng the USC-UCLA football game. We sure miss not having you around to exchange a bet or two. Even though we know you were rooting for the Bruins from up above, there must be more Trojan "angels" around because your Bruins lost again this year. However, you must have been sending a "heavenly hex" on USC because they didn't do as well as expected this football season. Now the Christmas season is upon us, nd all the memories of holiday times past and New Years at Shaverwill keep our hearts warm. And, I want you to know that everyday we are remidned of the good, fun-loving Scotty becasue Cat sent us a picture of you, John and Arlis in a cute frame that I have displayed on the entry hall counter.
Love you and keep angelic thoughts for all of us back here on this crazy politicized planet, John & Bev

Hi Dad, where does time go? Think about and talk to you regularly. You're not with us here yet your spirit lives. We're still laughing, crying and loving. I've just digitized a bunch of old pictures. Now I look at you each and every day. And you thought you could hide from me. Not so fast. Hugs and love from Laila and me.
