Obituary of Thressa J. Santibianchi

Thressa J. Santibianchi, 84, of East Main Street, Fonda, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam, New York with her son by her side. She was born December 1, 1922 a daughter of the late Anthony and Loretta Arcesi Santibianchi. Thressa was a lifelong resident of the Fonda area. She worked in the Fonda Fultonville Central School District for many years retiring in 1984. Thressa was a member and communicant of St. Cecilia?s Church in Fonda. Besides her parents, Thressa was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Coratti in 1989, and a brother, Frank Santibianchi in 2005. She is survived by a son, David Norita Santibianchi of Fonda, a sister-in-law, Mary Santibianchi of Fonda, two grandchildren, Frank Santibianchi of Troy, and Kristina Santibianchi of Fultonville, two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Colleen West of Fultonville, and a dear friend, Frances Dybas of Amsterdam. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. At Thressa?s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A Graveside Service will take place at a later date in St. Cecelia?s Cemetery in Fonda with the Rev. Patrick Gallagher, OFM Conv. officiating.
