I met Mr "moe"
As a student at the Estee Middle school
What a great man.
He always smiled and was always
Encouraging me to do my best
I have fond memories of him through the roughest years of ones life.
Many kids went through that school, but for years after I graduated, he remembered me.
He will always hold a special place in my heart.

I met Moe in 1986,when my family and I first moved to G'ville. My husband was in the Air Force. Moe helped me in adjusting to my new job at Estee middle School. I will never for get his kindness, his wit and the knowledge this man shared with me. I haven't seen Moe in so many yrs,but I will never forget him. When I think of him, I will always remember his warm greeting and how he made me feel like I really matter and how important my part time job was.
This world has lost a great man, there should be more Moes in this world. He certainly made his mark and a difference.

Uncle Morrie truly was a man for all seasons. The passions that enriched his life have served as an inspiration and example for new generations of family and friends. He personified Gloversville's spirit of community, particularly in the education and motivation of young people. We miss Uncle Morrie's energy and enthusiasm, and we miss his music. May his memory be for a blessing.
