Obituary of Robert James Pendl

Robert James Pendl, age 63, died unexpectedly on Saturday evening, December 17, 2016 at his Gloversville home. He was born September 26, 1953 in Niskayuna, the son of the late Oscar and Wanda Burnako Pendl. He served in the US Army from 1982 to 1985. Since the age of twelve he worked in various capacities for local businessman Martin Krieger, including most of his life at St. Regis of Gloversville. Bob was a member of the Concordia Club and the NRA. He loved motorcycle riding and going to the casino. He is survived by his wife, Louise Riker Pendl, whom he married February 13, 2015; two daughters, Tania Pendl May of Washington and Lucresia Graham of California; one brother, James Pendl of Canajoharie and two grandchildren, Evan Michael May and Brandon James May. Private visitation will take place at the convenience of the family at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville. Interment with military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
