To the Newkirk Family,
Jim was a very well liked, kind, and generous individual. Everyone who knew Jim liked him. Jim would give anyone the shirt off his back. He believed in God and Country. He was very proud to have served his country in the Marines. We will miss Jim. May he rest in peace.

I remember Jimmy as Doris' handsome big brother who was in the Marines and had actually met Elvis and tossed a football with him. At least, as a little girl that's how I remember it.
I was so sorry to hear about his passing. May your sorrow be short and your loving memories of him be forever in your heart and mind.
