Obituary of Angelo Natale

Angelo Natale, 58, of Northern Blvd., passed away peacefully Thursday evening at the home he loved, surrounded by his dear family and friends. He was born in Amsterdam on April 12, 1948, the son of Amelia ?Molly? Robilotto Natale and the late Samuel Natale. A graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Class of 1966, he later received his associate?s degree from Albany Business College. Angelo worked for the Teamsters for a time on the Gilboa Dam Project, and later was a warehouse supervisor for the Grand Union Company, retiring due to ill health. He was an avid New York Giants and Nascar fan and loved to play basketball and volleyball. Angelo was known for his great teasing and sense of humor which he carried with him until the end. Angelo was a communicant of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church. On October 10, 1970, he was united in marriage to the former Mary Wojnar. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his mother, Amelia ?Molly? Natale of Amsterdam; his daughter, Rebecca Natale of Medford , Mass; his son, Jeremy Natale of Mayfield and Greg Krom who was like a second son; his sisters, Barbara Natale and Sandra Cramer both of Amsterdam; and Sheryl Keck of Broadalbin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews , cousins, beloved cats, and his ?grandcats and granddogs?. Angelo?s family would like to say a special thanks to his dear friend of thirty years, Karyl Hopp and Pastor Jim for their prayers and support. Services are Monday morning at 10:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass Of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Mary?s Church. Interment will take place in St. John?s Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Association, Community Hospice Of Amsterdam or the Montgomery County SPCA, all in care of the funeral home.
