Obituary of Victoria H. Salton

Victoria H. Salton, 56, of Baker Avenue, Schenectady, passed away Monday morning at Ellis Hospital. Born in Amsterdam on August 11, 1950, she was the daughter of Eleanore Plantis Salton and the late John F. Salton. She was a 1968 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. Victoria was employed by Quandts for a time as a computer operator and had lived in Schenectady for the past sixteen years. She was a parishioner of St. Casimir?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Her loving family includes her mother, Eleanore Salton of Amsterdam; Her beloved companion Mark Bourdeau of Schenectady; sisters; Sandra and her husband David Knudsen of Cranesville, Patricia Salton, and brother David and his wife Christina Salton all of Saratoga Springs; niece, Elyse and her husband Fernando Rodriguez of Jericho, NY, nephew Crien Salton of Wilton; grandnephew Jordan Rodriguez as well as an uncle and several cousins. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. David Mickiewicz at St. Casimir?s Church at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment is in St. Casimir?s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Casimir?s Memorial Fund or the Animal Protection Foundation both in care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, to whom her family has entrusted her arrangements.
