Obituary of Olga G. Kozlowski

Olga G. Kozlowski, 92, of Mt. Loretto Nursing Home, formerly of Sanford Ave in Amsterdam, entered eternal rest on Friday May 18, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born in Macedonia, Salonica, Greece on October 31, 1914 and was a daughter of James and Helen Lazarou George. Mrs. Kozlowski came to the United States from Greece in 1923 and has made her home in Amsterdam ever since. She was a 1934 Graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam and later was a graduate of the former Amsterdam School of Commerce. Mrs. Kozlowski was a 25 year employee of Mohasco Industries formerly of Amsterdam where she worked as a designers? assistant. She attended church at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam and also St. Ann?s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Kozlowski was very fond of her pet cats. She married Adam Kozlowski on June 28, 1941. He passed away on July 11, 1991. Survivor?s include, One daughter, Atty. Susan D. Kozlowski of LaGrange, Il. One Brother, Michael George and his wife Matilda of Amsterdam, NY. One Sister, Marylou George of Amsterdam. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at 11:00a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home with Father James Gulley presiding. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday May 21, 2007 from 5:00P.M. t0 8:00P.M.at the funeral home.
