Obituary of Robert J. Crocetti

Robert J. Crocetti, 53, of South Mall Towers, Albany, NY formerly of Amsterdam, New York passed away unexpectedly Wednesday June 13, 2007 at his home. Born in Amsterdam, New York on July 13, 1953 he was the son of Joseph F. and Jennie V. Volturo Crocetti. He was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Rochester, New York. He was a Graduate of SUNY Albany and earned a degree in Psychology. He went on to earn a Masters Degree in Taxation at SUNY Albany. He was employed as an Accountant for Marriott Hotels. He worked in Southern California and Hawaii for several years. He was also employed at the Canyon Ranch in the Berkshire Mountains as an assistant financial officer. Mr. Crocetti was an accomplished Jazz pianist and played at one time in Las Vegas. Survivors include one sister, Rosemary Tofinchio of Clifton Park, New York and one brother, Joseph F. Crocetti, Jr. of Boston, MA. Various family members also survive. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 10:00AM at the church of St. John the Baptist, Vanderveer St., Amsterdam with Father Stanislaus Swierzowski as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John?s Cemetery, Amsterdam. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John?s Church Soup Kitchen, Vanderveer St., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
