Obituary of Agnes M. Ohler

Agnes M. Ohler, 91, formerly of Queens, resident of the River Ridge Living Center, LLC in Amsterdam passed away Monday evening at the St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born July 20, 1915 in Middle Village, New York, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria Janovic Marincel. She moved to this area in 2002. Agnes was a homemaker and one of the original founders of the Ridgewood Senior Center in Ridgewood, New York. She was a parishioner of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. She enjoyed playing bingo, card games and was devoted to her church the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Roman Catholic Church, Ridgewood, New York where she was a communicant. Survivors include a son, Roger Ohler of Amsterdam, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church, East Main Street, Amsterdam. Burial will take place at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Fort Johnson. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contribution in Agnes M.
