Dear Anne and Dick; Nancy and Ron
We were so saddened to hear about the passing of your dad but as you stated earlier Nancy he is now with his beloved wife - the love of his life. Every dad should have the untiring devotion, compassion and love given by two fantastic daughters such as yourselves and the support and understanding of two great sons in law. Your hearts should rest assured that you shared your lives with your dad, you were by his side and that he didn't leave this world a lonely man. Our sincere heartfelt sympathy to the entire family but you four deserve a long vacation, find comfort in each other and be proud of who you are - Bless You! - Don and Mari Jean Landrio

I always enjoyed talking with Bud. He was a wealth of knowledge about so may things. I always try to keep a special memory when someone passes and I will always remember Bud checking out the apparent heat loss threw the roof during the gathering at my newly built home. Carol and my thoughts are with you.

To All, How sincerely saddened I am to hear of Mr. Travis?s death and know that you all once again grieve for a member of your family. In reading his obituary it was surprising and enlightening for me. I was surprised at how quickly tears came to my eyes and how significantly touched I was by the news of his passing. Enlightened because I never really knew what Mr. T did for a living. Thirty + years ago you could have told me he was a Top Presidential Advisor, or an Admiral and I would have believed you, clearly for me, this was a man who was certainly of great importance. The greatest gift he ever gave to me was a ride. Mr. T invited me to accompany him on a little road trip down to the Island, just he and I. I can?t remember what we spoke of, what the weather was like, or if there was a lot of traffic that day. What I can remember which I had all but forgotten was the sense of acceptance that little ride gave me. After all this was H.O. the head of the family, sharing his space and time with me. It?s funny what we remember. Hum.. now I wonder if his memory would be something like, ?How did I ever get talked in to a 5 hour car ride with a chatty teenager?. Tee-hee
Again my sincere sympathy,
Lori
