Obituary of Holly Susan Dorothy Knoll

Miss Holly Susan Dorothy Knoll, 48, of Ridge Road, Canajoharie, died Monday, August 6, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born on October 17, 1958 in Hempstead, NY. She was of the Christian faith and has been a resident of the area for the past 18 years. Holly enjoyed watching movies, traveling, and having children visit and read to her. She was a gentle soul who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her parents; Gene R. Knoll Sr. and his wife JoAnne of Shoemakersville, PA; Elizabeth R. ?Betsy? Balsdon and her husband Jim of Floyd, VA; one brother, Gene R. Knoll Jr. of Sarasota, FL; and her housemates and friends. Holly was predeceased by her sister, Bet Rausch. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11a.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie with Holly?s step-father, Pastor Jim Balsdon, presiding. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10 until 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Enterprises, in care of the funeral home. Following the services, everyone is invited to a reception at the Liberty Home on Ridge Road.
