Hi Dad...Today, you've been missing from our lives two years now. I think of you everyday and miss you so much. Kyra is getting so big it's amazing...though she is a spitting image of her father I do hope she grows up with your demeanor, strength, work ethic, love, compassion, personality and every other trait you carried. I am so happy GOD chose you to be my dad. I would never of asked for anyone else! I just wanted to tell you once again that I think of you and love you so much. You do hear me talk to you because I feel you around me many times when I am troubled. Miss you and Love you so much.

Dad....
I am going to miss you so much. I love you from the bottom of my heart. We started off weak but ended strong. You were my world and my one and only "Dad". I am truly honored that you came into my life and PROUD that you ARE my DAD! You made me laugh, smile and giggle from 830 miles away every time we talked. It never mattered if it was at 8am; 11pm or 2am that we talked?it was always FUN and always a great conversation that lasted hours. You always said that, I made you ?smile? from the other end of the phone, Dad?you made me smile too!
You are going to be missed by me and Ricky so much you won't believe. It was so hard to say good-bye dad, I hated doing that. I loved and STILL LOVE YOU more than anything. You were always there when I needed to talk ...you came here to Charlotte whenever you could and I am so happy you made those trips.
I am so proud to be your daughter and so very thankful God put us together. I love you so much dad...You will always be in my heart, mind and soul.
I know you are looking down at Ricky and I and will be watching over us until we come home to you.

Maryland, Jim, Roger, and Cathy Butterball
I hope at least one of you remembers me from our childhood on Milton Avenue. My fondest memories involve you, particularly Roger and Cathy. I am Jane and Guy's daughter and lived at 12 and, later, 14 Milton. We spent tons of time together until you moved to the Florida Ave. house. I especially remember Ricky and the summer day we were "married" on my front porch. What a neat kid! I never forgot him. I am broken hearted by the news of his passing. I am so terribly sorry for you all.
