Obituary of Evelyn Wilson
Evelyn ?Lynn? Wilson, 66, of Bleecker, died Monday at her residence. She was born July 31, 1941 in Mayfield, daughter of Myrtle Hickok Halloran and the late John ?Donald? Halloran. Lynn was a graduate of Mayfield High School and employed as an inspector for Grandoe Gloves for more than 20 years .An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoyed traveling and hunting, and was a member of the Bleecker Fish and Game Club. She was also a member of the Cyprus Temple Marvia Court # 27 L.O.S.N.A. .
Lynn was married to Eddie G. Wilson who pre-deceased her in 1986. In addition to her mother, of Florida, she is survived by three daughters: Teresa LaVeck and her husband Louis of Stratford, Sheryl Damphier and her husband John of Johnstown and Brenda Young and her husband Mark of Bleecker. Her long time companion Donald Foster of Bleecker survives. She is also survived by a brother, James Halloran and his wife Patricia of Georgia and four sisters: Donna Lee Drake of Florida, Kathy Carleton and her husband Randy of Kerhonkson, Judy Taylor of Florida and Elizabeth Hosback of Florida. Additional survivors include her grandchildren: Melissa Cosselman, Sarah Montano, Stacy, Jake and John Damphier Jr., Michael Foster, Joshua LaVeck, Mark Young Jr. and Alisha Young. Lynn also has three great grandchildren: Dylan Cosselman, Rissa and Kyah Montano, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 pm Friday from the Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street with Reverend R.W. Williams officiating. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Bleecker Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd. Loudonville, NY 12211 or to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville.
