Obituary of William J. Sandel

Mr. William J. Sandel, age 60 of Gloversville, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY. He was born March 24, 1947 in Gloversville, the son of the late Samuel and Helen Berliner Sandel. Bill was a member of Knesseth Israel Synagogue and the Concordia Club of Gloversville, and the Ostomy Club at St. Mary?s Hospital, Amsterdam. He is survived by his brother, Michael S. Sandel Gayle of Amsterdam; two nephews, Christian M. Sandel Megan of Gloversville and Kevin M. Sandel Elizabeth of Wynantskill; a grand-niece, Jill M. Sandel of Gloversville; and a cousin, Susan White John of Valatie, NY. Services will be held at 11am Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Knesseth Israel Synagogue, E. Fulton St; Gloversville, with Rabbi Martin Gordon officiating. Interment will take place at Knesseth Israel Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Fulton County S.P.C.A., 486 Stevers Mills Rd; Broadalbin, NY 12025.
