Obituary of Teresa D. Filkins

Teresa D. Filkins, age 44 of Johnstown, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. She was born August 8, 1963 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Richard and Ellen Carbano Wilson, and was a graduate of Gloversville High School. Teresa worked for the last eight years at Exel in Johnstown. She was a member of Women of the Moose #149 of Gloversville. She enjoyed going to Turning Stone Casino, and was a huge BINGO fan. She loved people and also enjoyed gardening. Teresa is survived by her Husband, Jack A. Bulger; her daughter, Jay D. Wilson of Johnstown, three sons, Robert Filkins of Gloversville, Shawn Bulger Heather of Esperance and William Bulger Jill of Johnstown; two brothers, Richard Wilson and Brian Wilson; five sisters, Tonya Walendziak, Deanna McEntyre, Julie Wilson, Anne Castel and Nancy Wilson; three grandchildren, Julia Bulger , William Bulger, Jr. and Holly Yauchler; and many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Wilson. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday.
