Obituary of Dwight B. Holland

Dwight B. Holland, 58, of McDonald Drive, Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening September 24, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam on October 30, 1948 a son of the late William R. and Blanche Belle Becker Holland Sr. He was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Perth Central High School. Mr. Holland was currently employed for Alpin Haus in Amsterdam as a driver. He was also employed earlier in his career at the Beacon Warehouse in Gloversville and Reliable Auto Parts in Amsterdam. Dwight is survived by two brothers, William R. Holland and his wife Beatrice of Salisbury, North Carolina and Keith Holland and his wife Maryellen of Broadalbin, NY. Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wayne Holland. A Graveside funeral service will be held on Friday September 28, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Cemetery, Steadwell Ave, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on ThursdayThis evening September 27, 2007 from 5:00-8:00P.M at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
