I think of Jan every Christmas when I put the Lace ornements that she gave me on the tree. This has been almost 30 years. They will have extra special meaning now. Rest in peace Jan.

So sorry to read about Janet's death in the newspaper, but know she is without pain for the first time in many years. Although I didn't know Janet personally, I know her brother and her mother.
I have one of the angels that she made that I put on my Christmas tree every year ane I think about her each time.

Dear Roger and Marie,
I remember the days, very well, when Marie and Janet drove from the Albany area to Binghamton, NY to have me groom their dogs. I marveled at the fact that the dogs were all brushed out and ready for me to groom. We did have good times chatting while I groomed away.
Your visit in August was so nice. I will treasure the time we had. Jim and I are so very sad at her passing. She is dancing with the angels.
Roger and Marie, please keep in touch.
Love to you both,
Barbara and Jim Terry

To My Good Friend Roger Melin,
I'm heart broken to learn of the passing of your partner and best friend, Janet Kiesel. Please accept my profound condolences. Although I didn't have the priviledge of knowing Janet personally, I'm sure she was a wonderfully unique and loving individual, and a fine lady. At this moment, I'm reminded of the Garth Brooks song, "If Tomorrow Never Comes". Life is indeed so brief, and I for one need to make a better effort to tell people everyday, if possible, that I love them. With that in mind, let me say that, "I love you Roger, my dear friend", and hope you can remain strong and grounded during this incredibly difficult time. Best Regards. Garry Williams

Our deepest condolences Roger and family...
I shall always remember those smiling eyes of Janets, her adoration of living life to the full, even with her limitations, her wonderful strength, her love of her family and poodles was evident to us here in Australia.
Our meeting in June 06 was unbelievable, we both could not believe we were actually in the same room! We actually hugged eachother, sat and chatted on the same sofa together after chatting on the web.
I watched you as you walked away from us Janet and wished we could have stayed longer than those six short days...
Everything you did my little buddy you put your big wonderful heart into and I am missing you so much....

While I never met Janet in person - I've known her over the years thru the internet. We all loved her spirit - she was a very strong loving lady. She will be missed. Hugs to her dogs - from all her poodle pals, I know they will be a comfort to her family.

You may not rember me I am one of the aids that came into see Janet I ony met you on one occasion But I felt that I had to tell you how sorry I was to hear about the loss of Janet. She was always a bright spot in my day if I got to come to see her, she told me how much fun the two of you had when you went to cooperstown and she also shared the good time that she had at the polo match. She was a great person and I sure will miss her. Send my heart felt sympathy to her mother whom I got to meet also. Janet was helping me look for a dachshund pup, and I just got back from vacation and was looking forward to telling her about my trip to Tennessee she was trying to talk me into a trip to myrtle beach. Well I thought I would just share afew of the things we use to talk about , you came up in the conversation alot of the time it always put a smile on her face. I just wanted youto know how I felt with all my sympathy Mary CHC

I am so sorry to hear about Janet passing. I know I haven't seen her in years, but I still remember all the years we played together as kids. She liked her horses just like me and Stephanie Tashiro . One of our beds is signed by us girls when we spent the night at my house. She is in a better place now and I hope she finds peace. Again, I am so sorry.

Roger,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Janet was so special and had such a magnificent spirit.
Even though Taylor and I only knew her for a short time, she made quite an impact on our lives. To watch her go through all the struggles that she did on a daily basis, and still maintain the joy for life that she showed to the world is inspirational to us and will be forever.
Please let me know if you need anything and feel free to come over if you just need someone to talk to.
Again, our deepest sympathies are with you.
Beth & Taylor DeVito
