Aunt Henrietta and Uncle Dick were very kind to us. When my father married June, they opened their arms and welcomed us into their family. I often recall going sailing on his wooden sail boat, and seeing him drive around in his "Caddie" and "VW". Uncle Dick was always happy to see us and greeted us with a big smile. It has been and honor to know him, Aunt Henritta and their son Jim. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Our sincere sympathy. I grew up across the street from "the Beckers" and remember Mr. Becker as a very pleasant gentleman neighbor. He always gave a wave of his hand when he saw the "3 Burr kids" across the street. My Mom and Dad and the Beckers were neighbors "forever" and now that my brother, Wally, and his wife, Mary, have lived in my parents' home for the past 6 years, I know they will also miss Mr. Becker. He was one of the last original Bleecker Street neighbors.

It was a great honor to have known Uncle Dick. For the year I spent with him he had told me alot of his old time stories, which I really enjoyed. My favorite memory of dick would be of us sitting on his back porch watching the animals in the yard and of him singing his favorite songs which he had some great ones and of him playing his keyboard. The memories he has given me I will cherish forever in my heart.
