Obituary of Ella M. King

Mrs. Ella M. King, 94, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Conestoga View Nursing Home in Lancaster, PA. Born in Gloversville on January 10, 1913 she was the daughter of William and Lula Hunter Henry. Ella attended Gloversville schools and was employed by C.J. Bachner Glove Co. for over thirty years. She was a member of North Main Street United Methodist Church in Gloversville. Her husband Stephen King died July 27, 1984. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and John Slovack of Gloversville and Carol and Blaine Blubaugh of Lancaster, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Pauline Henry of Johnstown; four grandsons and a granddaughter; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She is also predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Green. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 22, 2007 at 10 am from Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville with the Rev. Christopher Hamm officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ella?s memory, to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
