Obituary of Betty Werle

Mrs. Betty Werle died Friday, October 26, 2007 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville. A lifelong Gloversville resident, Betty was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lula Blanchard Spencer. Betty was married June 24, 1944 to Charles F. Werle. Mr. Werle died September 2, 1994. She is survived by two children, George Werle of Gloversville and Jean Rust of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Bill Spencer of Corinth; a sister, Muriel Bordis of Gloversville; two grandchildren, several nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters Lu Brown, Marge Gerace and Catherine Rhodes. There will be no calling hours. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Bleecker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kobuskie - Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville.
