Obituary of Kum Pajak

Mrs. Kum Pajak, 75, of Amsterdam, passed away suddenly but peacefully January 13, 2017 at Albany Medical Center, Albany with her loving children at her side. Born April 20, 1941 in Guangwon-do, South Korea she came to the United States in 1971. She married the love of her life, George R. Pajak on October 2, 1970 who sadly passed away in March 2005. Kum,or Kumi to her coworkers and Jo to family, worked for many years at Coleco Industries and Ward Products in Amsterdam as Line Inspectors. She retired in 2003. Her joys in life were her husband, children and granddaughter. They meant everything to her. She loved cooking with family, playing solitaire, listening to music, tending to her garden but especially enjoyed popping bubblewrap. She was a longstanding member of St.Stanislaus Church of Amsterdam. Kum is survived by her two loving children, son, Thomas (Renee) Pajak of Amsterdam and daughter, Cheryl Pajak of Albany, NY. Granddaughter, Fleura and her siblings and family in South Korea. Graveside service will be held on Friday January 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
