Obituary of Nancy J. Seitz

Nancy Seitz, 60, of Woodrow Road passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 10, 1947 a daughter of the late Chester and Ruth Maloney Staples. Nancy was raised and attended schools in New Jersey. She was of Protestant faith and married Roger Seitz in Edison, NJ on June 17, 1967, he predeceased her in June of 2000. Nancy previously worked as a telephone operator for Contel in Johnstown and as a daycare provider in the area. She was a communicant of the Faith, Hope and Love Church in Canajoharie where she often looked forward to attending services. In her childhood years, Nancy had a passion for music, having sung in the school choir, and very much enjoyed dancing. As years passed, Nancy still enjoyed music very much, spending time with her family and friends, and always helping those in need. Her loving family includes her son, Jeffrey Seitz of Amsterdam; two sisters, Susan Don McLean of Fonda and Linda Louis Donaruma of Satellite Beach, FL; and four brothers, Peter Patty Staples of Edison, NJ, William Staples of Highland Park, NJ, David Lisa Staples of Ilion, and Timothy Amy Staples of Ft. Plain. Several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Interment will follow cremation at a later date.
