Obituary of Verna R. Eifreg

Mrs. Verna R. Eifreg, 71 of Johnstown, passed away Friday at Nathan Littauer Hospital. Born in Gloversville on July 25, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mrytle Hamm Mosconi. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and took a number of banking courses during her many years employed at area banks, serving as loan officer, manager and teller. Verna enjoyed reading and was an avid sports fan, especially watching baseball and football. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband Donald Eifreg of Johnstown whom she married March 31, 1957, her daughter; Kelly Eifreg of Johnstown. She is also survived by a sister; Jacqueline Daniel Del Negro of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., two brothers; Edward Linda Mosconi of North Port, Fla. and John Mosconi of Ashville, N.C. Additional survivors include a niece Tarra Martello and three nephews; James and Dean Del Negro, and Troy Mosconi. Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Tuesday from the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 pm. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mt.
