Walt was a familiar name in our household. My father Lawrence Trombley knew Walt through the YMCA and we remember him from church. He was spoken of highly and will be missed but not forgotten.
May God's love nourish you through this journey.

Walt was a real friend. When someone was down and out he always was there for them. He cared. He truly did. I will never forget all the great times we had together. I will miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.

I would like to offer the family and friends of Walt my deepest sympathy.
I met Walt Van Brocklin when I was 8 years old. He was my YMCA gym teacher. His positive attitude and motivation taught me to COMPETE and helped me form a positive self image. I have had many success in life which can be traced back to Walt Van Brocklin.
Sincerely,
Ted Cirillo

Although I haven't seen Walt in years, I have not forgotten him because we were roommates at Dean
and he was a lot of fun.

We were so sorry to read of Walt's death. He was the swimming team coach. 2 of our sons were on the team so Walt would call quite often for various reasons. He always was friendly, gave lots of encouragement etc. to the boys. Also my husband,Jack played volleyball with him.I have many happy memories of him. I hope those memories will visit you all soon.
