Obituary of Robert E. Trull

Robert E. Trull, 92, of Evelyn Ave, Amsterdam, passed away Sunday morning at the Fulton County Infirmary, Gloversville, NY. Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 23, 1915 a son of Arthur and Elsie Newell Trull. He was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. Mr. Trull was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the 1930?s. After his service Robert worked as a watchmaker for many years in Amsterdam. He was the owner-operator of the former Gallagher and Trull watchmakers. He retired in 1980. He was of the protestant faith. Mr. Trull married Carmen Halverson Trull on November 12, 1936. She passed away on September 11, 2007. Survivor?s include three sons, Alan Trull and his wife Alexandra of Amsterdam, Gary Trull and his wife Beatrice of Newport Richey FL, and Randy Trull and his wife Vikki of Crystal Lake, FL. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Mr. Trull was preceded in death by a brother Wilbur Trull. Graveside services will be held in the spring in Fairview Cemetery Amsterdam, NY. There are no calling hours.
