Obituary of Timothy H. Johnson
Timothy H. Johnson, 50, of Route 10, Palatine Bridge, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 16, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on March 27, 1957 in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Hugh Johnson and Helen Konyisz Johnson. Tim was a graduate of Gloversville High School and was a lifelong area resident.
Tim along with his wife, Lana owned and operated the Palatine Angus Farm in Palatine Bridge for over 10 years. He was member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Stone Arabia and was a member of several Angus and Sheep associations. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He preceded in death by a brother, Paul Johnson.
His loving family includes his wife, Lana Meyers Johnson, whom he married on September, 26, 1987; a daughter, L. Christine Johnson; his mother, Helen Johnson of Northville; four sisters, Kathy Randy Klena of Mayfield, Judy Thomas Black of Northville, Carol Bruce Gardiner of Gloversville, and Mary George Gregory of Saranac Lake. Aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 11a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia, with the Rev. Gail Wolling officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 at the church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to a trust that has been set up for his daughter?s education in care of any NBT Bank.
