Obituary of Rosalie Cullen James

Rosalie Cullen James, 62, of Tribes Hill, NY passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital in Amsterdam after a brief illness. Born in Glens Falls, NY on November 9, 1945 she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth McNeil Cullen. She was educated in Lake Luzerne and has been a lifelong area resident. She was employed with Liberty Enterprises in Amsterdam. Rosalie was a kind and giving person. She enjoyed crafts, bingo, traveling, shopping, watching TV Land and spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Rosalie was married to Kenneth James in November of 1967. He died in January of 1996. She was also preceded in death two sisters, Maxine Thew and Joan Smith; her two brothers, Eddie and James Cullen; and a grandson Trae James. Her loving family includes, her long time companion, Clarence Robinson; one son, Steven Kellie James of Queensbury; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Lanz and Troi James; four step children, Ann Bruce Hall of Queensbury, Debbie Adrian Riveria of Harlingen, TX, Alice Olimpo Torres of Harlingen, TX and Paul James of Glens Falls; two sisters, Mary James Charles Wallace of Glens Falls and Bell Herman Van Auken of Lake Luzerne; and several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. For the past 12 years, Rosalie made her home with her special niece, Stormy Alexander Isabel and their children, Elizabeth, Laura and Pennie; and her brother in law Harold Smith. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 3rd, 2008 at 7:30p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. A calling period will begin prior to the service, starting at 6p.m. Interment will take place in the Warrensburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
