Obituary of Alison K. Guisti

Alison K. Guisti, 42, of Amsterdam NY, has passed away suddenly on Thursday, January, 19th, 2017. Born on July 16th, 1974, in Amsterdam NY. She was the daughter of the late Adelia Hoefs and Raymond Guisti. Alison is a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Amsterdam High School Class of 1992. She was a shift leader at Save-A-Lot and had been a faithful employee there for the last 12 years. Alison was very family orientated who loved to cook. She was a very caring individual and will be remembered for her fun loving personality. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Alison is survived by her daughters, Emma R. Guisti, Elizabeth R. Guisti, and Lilly L. Guisti; her longtime companion Dale Haight; and her brothers, Raymond Guisti Jr., Michael (Chrissy) Guisti, and Jason (Missy) Guisti. Many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Alison is predeceased by her beloved parents Adelia and Raymond Guisti. A Legacy Candle Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, 2017, at 7pm at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Calling hours will be held prior to the ceremony from 5-7pm at the funeral home. A private interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
