Obituary of Steven John Sayles

Steven John Sayles, 63, of Florida died suddenly on Friday, January 20, 2017. Born on July 21, 1953 he was the son of the late Dolores J. Jager and Kenneth L. Sayles. Steve graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1971. He then went on to serve proudly with the United States Navy from 1972- 1976. Steve was employed by KeyMark Corporation in Fonda, NY and Kathleen, FL for 35 years until his retirement in 2015. He is survived by his dad, Ken Sayles; four sons, Scott Sayles of Saratoga Springs, Steven James Sayles and his wife Renee of Waterford, David Sayles and his wife Jaime of Johnstown, and Devon Sayles of Gloversville; two sisters, Valerie Quackenbush and her husband Mark of Winter Haven, FL and Michele Sayles of Amsterdam; four grandchildren, Abby, Zoey, Hunter and Elka; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Services of Remembrance will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 7p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
