Obituary of Joyce L. McGregor

Joyce L. McGregor, 76, passed away Wednesday January 9, 2007 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. Born in Gloversville on July 22, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Leona Brooks Foody. Joyce formerly lived in Fultonville and Meco. She loved her pets and nature. She loved her children and grandchildren. Family was most important to her life. She was married to Lucius McGregor, Sr., who passed away in 1983. Survivors include her two sons, John McGregor and his wife Betsy of Johnstown and Lucius McGregor Jr. and his fiancée Robin Knoblauch of Tribes Hill; she is also survived by her two grandsons, Scott and Christopher McGregor. Her brother David Foody predeceased her. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the spring in North Bush Methodist Cemetery, Caroga Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce's name may be made to the James Brennan Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078.
