Obituary of John E. Drozinski

Mr. John E. Drozinski, 65, of Wall Street, died peacefully on January 20, 2017 following a brief illness. A lifelong area resident, John was born on April 27, 1951 the son of the late Edward and Beverly Drozinski. John attended local schools and was of the Catholic faith. For many years he was employed as a maintenance man for Bill Petrosino. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, gardening and golfing; he was also an artist and poet. John's greatest pride was his children, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Shelley (Shay) Drozinski; two sons, Darin (Cheryl) Drozinski and Neil (Michelle) Drozinski; two grandchildren, Aidan John Drozinski and Madison Shay Drozinski; six siblings, Paul "Tyke" (Geniece) Drozinski, Robert (Diane) Drozinski, Susan Drozinski, Linda Lampkin, Angela Hamm and Beverly Teliha; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 7p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating. Calling hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 5p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Private interment will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
