Obituary of Blanche M. Bornt

Blanche M. Bornt 82, of Spring Road, passed away suddenly Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Fultonville on May 25, 1925, she was the daughter of Russell and Lillian Hendrick Moore, she was educated there and lived in the Hagaman area for a number of years. Blanche was employed as a secretary for a number of trucking companies including Dorn's, Navahoe, Dubrey and Boss Linco. She retired from Ward products in Amsterdam. An avid craft maker, she also loved to crochet afghans to share with family and friends. Her loving family includes her husband Clyde W. Bornt Jr. ; her son; Ronald L. and his wife Ruth Armstrong of Cohoes; grandchildren; Ronald R. Armstrong and Christine Sadlemire; great grandchildren; Eric, Cassandra and Steven Armstrong, and Krystal Sadlemire; nieces and nephews also survive. A service will take place this morning Wed. at 11:00 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. The Rev. Cynthia Leonard officiating. Relatives and friends are invited. Spring interment will take place in the Hagaman Mills Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department, in care of the funeral home office.
