Obituary of Victoria M. Fusco

Miss Victoria M. Fusco, age 53 of Delanson, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, following a long illness. Vickie was born November 17, 1954 in Gloversville, the daughter of Victor N. Fusco and the late Emily Smimmo Fusco. Although she has been paralyzed since the age of 8, Vickie graduated from Gloversville High School in 1972. She has maintained an independent living for most of her life, and has resided in the Schenectady area for approximately 20 years. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Gloversville. She is survived by her father, Victor N. Fusco, her sister, Roxanne M. Person Edward, and her nephew, Tyler LaRowe, all of Gloversville; her long-time friend and caregiver, Tim Baum of Delanson; several aunts and cousins, and her pet cats Bart, Maggie and BonBon. A private graveside service will take place in the springtime at the convenience of the family at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078.
