Obituary of Deborah M. Miller
Deborah M. Miller, 51 years old, died Saturday at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center where she had been a patient since May of last year. She was born July 31, 1956 in Amsterdam, a daughter of David E. and Josephine D. Hitchcock Miller, Sr., and grew up on the family dairy farm in Delanson. In 1983 she moved to the Oswald D. Heck Center in Schenectady. She enjoyed swimming and all of the summer programs at O.D. Heck. She especially enjoyed watching movies. Deborah resided in Middleburgh for 10 years before moving to St. Johnsville. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Church in Amsterdam.
Deborah is survived by her sister Frances A. Joseph Hoffman of Esperance, her brother David E. Miller, Jr. of Scotia, two nephews: Joseph R. Hoffman, lll , David E. Miller, lll and her niece Leda M. Steven Sao Bento. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
A private graveside funeral service will take place in the Spring at Chuctanunda Cemetery in Minaville. There will be no calling period. Cremation will take place at Vale Crematorium in Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made: St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24 Pine Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
