Obituary of Frank C. Young

Frank C. Young, 65, of Gloversville passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his home following a short illness. Born May 13, 1951 in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Howard and Arlene Dingman Young. Frank was a leatherworker for many years in the Gloversville area. He was an avid car enthusiast who loved antique cars especially his 1969 Gran Torino. Frank was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing in his younger years. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends. Survivors include his brothers Steven D. Young, Sr., Eugene A. Young (Sharon), Raymond A. Young (Kelly); sisters Cora H. Moore (Thomas), Roseann Baumes (Martin), Nancy Bates (Gary) and Mary Lee Hillman (Daryl); brother-in-law Ken VanHoesen and sister-in-law Mary Lou Young. Frank is predeceased by his beloved wife Rose Young; brother Howard W. Young, Sr. and sister Sharon VanHoesen. A graveside service will be held in the spring at a time to be announced.
