Obituary of John Trumpick

John Trumpick, 48, of DeGraff Street, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital with his mother at his side. Born in Amsterdam on November 19, 1959, he was the son of Florence Mikolaitis Trumpick and the late Edmund Trumpick. John attended local schools and lived here his entire life. He was employed through the years at various positions through Liberty. John enjoyed the out doors, especially camping and fishing with his dad and friends. He loved music, and had an extensive collection of CD's. He was a lifelong communicant of St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church. He leaves his mother, Florence Trumpick of Amsterdam; a sister, Susan Trumpick of Glens Falls, and cousins. Funeral services are Friday at 10:45 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated by Fr. David Mickiewicz at 11:30 am at St. Casimir's Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in John's name to St. Casimir's Memorial Fund, or the Liberty Foundation, both in care of the funeral home office.
