Obituary of Lucille Loretta Regina Lewandowski Beddig
Lucille Loretta Regina Lewandowski Beddig, 76, of Argersinger Road, passed away Wednesday evening, March 12, at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born July 13, 1931 a daughter of the late Stanley and Regina Meller Lewandowski.
Lucille was a lifelong resident of the area having attended schools in Amsterdam and Saratoga. She married Herman William Beddig on September 8, 1963; together they made their home in Fultonville. She was employed by Johnstown Knitting Mill for 12 years, retiring in 1992.
Lucille was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Johnstown and was also a member of Glen Grange. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and spending lots of time with her grandchildren whom she adored. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Her loving family includes her husband of 44 years, Herman Beddig of Fultonville, her children, Darlene Beddig, Melissa Dale Furman, and William Audra Beddig all of Fultonville, her grandchildren, Richard J. and William P. Furman and Hailey Q., Chloee M. and McKenna S. Beddig all of Fultonville, and her sisters, Theresa Donald Brackett of Saratoga Springs, and Noreen Fruamane of Amsterdam. Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY with Rev. Stacey Midge conducting. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday evening from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the funeral home.
