Obituary of Theresa M. Waikuny Fioretti

Mrs. Theresa M. Waikuny Fioretti, age 84 of Gloversville, died Thursday evening, March 13, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, NY. She was born on April 2, 1923 in New York City, the daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth Wilde Waikuny. She graduated from high school in New York City, and has resided in Gloversville for most of her lifetime. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, Gloversville. Theresa was married to Henry A. Fioretti, Sr. who died January 30, 2003. She is survived by two sons, Paul J. Fioretti and Henry A. Fioretti, Jr. Roberta of Gloversville; three grandchildren, Timothy Fioretti of Gloversville, Michael Fioretti of Johnstown and Annmarie Fioretti of the Town of Northampton; and several nieces, nephews and cosusins. A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family in the spring Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown, with the Very Rev. Donald Czelusniak officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd; Albany, NY 12205. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville.
